At 2:30 a.m. on December 25, 2014, R.T.O. Chaiphat Thapchom, Deputy Inspector (Investigation), Sub-Division 2, Express Traffic Control Center 1 (Expressway Police Station 1), Traffic Police Division, received a report of a car accident in which a car rear-ended a 6-wheel truck, resulting in a fatality.
